Description **
An Epiphone DOT in Natural finish from 2015 – and in a really great condition. This lady is almost like NEW: no scratches, no dents, no tarnished hardware – only light signs of use. A really fine semi!
We freshly leveled and polished the frets and gave it a full setup. Result: perfect playability and a smooth, rounded feel. The neck sits very comfortably in the hand, a bit chunkier and leaning toward a D profile, which gives it a certain stability and substance.
The original pickups were replaced with two Yamaha VH5plus humbuckers – a really successful modification. They sound very clear, less bass-heavy, and therefore are отлично suited for clean to crunch. They also shine under distortion – articulate and without mud. An Orange Drop capacitor in the bridge pickup’s tone circuit adds extra transparency. On top of that, there are nice control knobs that add that little extra visually.
Bottom line: A versatile semi that feels at home in rock, blues, jazz and more. An honest workhorse that’s simply fun.
