Description **
This Epiphone – a truly dreamy Goldtop – is a blues and rock machine through and through. It was built in 2002 at the renowned Unsung factory in Korea, known for top quality and materials.
The condition? Very well cared for with light signs of use. Especially nice: the grain of the mahogany body – on this limited edition the back is finished in transparent lacquer.
The neck on this early ’56 edition feels great: more of a ’60s shape up top, getting a bit thicker as you move down – really comfortable. The P90s sing – truly. And no, they don’t need to be swapped. As with many Epiphone P90s, it’s more about the right setup. With a bit of fine-tuning of the height to the strings, these things give you everything: fat, open, warm, but with nice punch.
This guitar doesn’t have to hide behind the big G – quite the opposite.
The frets have been freshly leveled and a setup has been done. It comes with a basic case.
