Description **
A real eye-catcher – this beautiful ’90s Les Paul Classic with a rare birdseye maple top turns heads instantly. The body was factory-chambered, which gives it the fantastic lightweight feel of only 3.4 kg – a real rarity for a Les Paul!
The hardware is in very good condition with a light, natural patina – just like the binding. You can tell it’s been played: over the years the finish on the top has slightly sunk in and developed an honestly aged surface that gives it that special vintage charm. There’s a small finish ding on the headstock and a slightly touched-up spot on the top near the output jack.
Tonally, the original pickups deliver solid results – absolutely usable, though if you want you could take it up a notch with a set of Tonerider Rocksong pickups. The neck has a comfortable ’60s medium-C profile, plays very comfortably, and with the freshly leveled frets a low, smooth action is no problem.
