Description **
The body was already chambered during production, giving the guitar its fantastic light weight of just 3.4 kg – a real rarity for a Les Paul!
The hardware is in very good condition and shows a light, natural patina, as do the bindings. You can tell that the guitar has been played: over the years, the finish on the top has settled slightly, creating an honestly aged surface that gives it a very special vintage charm. There is one small chip in the finish on the headstock and a slightly touched-up area on the top near the output jack.
Tonally, the original pickups deliver solid results – absolutely usable, although a set of Tonerider Rocksong pickups could take things up another level if desired. The neck has a comfortable ’60s Medium C profile and feels great in the hand. With the freshly leveled frets, a low and smooth action is no problem at all.
A classic Les Paul with an elegant look, plenty of character and soul – and at a sensationally low weight!
