Epiphone Les Paul Jared James Nichols “Gold Glory” is a no-compromise rock machine with only one goal: pushing forward with serious power. An honest, direct Les Paul with character that feels raw, powerful and alive – like a locomotive without brakes.
The Jared James Nichols “Gold Glory” is the golden sister of the black “Old Glory” – the signature model of a guitarist who stands for pure, unfiltered rock.
The basis is a classic 1955-style Les Paul Custom body, finished in a striking Double Gold Aged satin look. No bling-bling, just character.
It is equipped with a single Seymour Duncan P-90 Dogear in the bridge position – and that is all it needs. One pickup, one statement. Direct, open, powerful. The tone comes without detours – raw, honest and with plenty of push.
The strong 50s neck with rounded C profile sits solidly in the hand. On this one, it feels a little slimmer than on some others we have had in our hands. Together with the ebony fingerboard and block inlays, the whole guitar feels classy, but not overly polished – more like a workhorse in a tailor-made suit.
The frets are like new, and the factory fretwork was actually really okay here. We also gave the guitar a proper setup. Now it plays buttery smooth, direct and absolutely controlled.
Visually and technically, it is in almost new condition – hardly any signs of use, very well cared for.
