Description **

This used Epiphone Les Paul Standard from Bohemia is a true player’s Paula from the Musico-Delicia factory — rare, high-quality, and featuring a real long tenon neck. A black workhorse that’s genuinely sought after these days.

It has been played a lot and comes with a few battle scars, but in the best possible way: honest player-grade condition, not messed with, not “polished pretty.” You can feel its roughly 25-year history: bigger chips and dings, mainly on the back and the sides. It likely took a fall at some point — classic scenario: the strap probably slipped out of the pin. The important part: the neck didn’t take any damage. There’s a crack in the finish around the upper strap button — cosmetic only. It doesn’t affect tone or playability.

And that’s exactly where these Bohemia Epis shine: deep black finish, Gibson-style truss rod, long tenon neck — and that solid, “real” Les Paul feel.

We leveled and polished the frets (material-saving — there’s still plenty of fret life left) and gave it a careful full setup. Result: butter-smooth playability, comfortable low action, everything dialed in.

This Les Paul comes from the Musico-Delicia plant (Bohemia), one of the most desirable production eras for Epiphone. Typical for this period:
• very good materials
• excellent workmanship
• Schaller pickups (unbranded)
• long tenon neck
• Gibson-style truss rod

Bottom line: rare, honest, road-worn, and absolutely convincing in tone and feel — clearly a step above many later series from China.
