Description **
This Epiphone Les Paul Standard has been played and naturally aged, but it is still in original condition. There is a finish chip near the jack socket that has been repaired, along with a few smaller dings and dongs. The fingerboard had once slightly separated from the neck near the nut – not a headstock break. We properly glued it back in place and filled the finish again. You can see it, but it does not hurt the sound or the overall look.
This is a real player guitar with a very beautiful flamed maple top — not a veneer.
We levelled and polished the frets, and there is still plenty of fret life left. We also gave it a careful complete setup and adjusted everything properly – now it plays buttery smooth.
This Epi comes from the Musico-Delicia factory in Bohemia, one of the most sought-after production sites. Typical features of this building period include:

Models like this are rare and absolutely convincing both in sound and playability – clearly above the later Epiphones from China.
