Description **
This Epiphone Les Paul Studio from Bohemia is a proper Paula from the Musico-Delicia factory – rare, high-quality, and with a real long tenon neck. A wine-red player-grade lady with no frills – classy, understated, and elegant.
It has been played and has a ding or two on the top – nothing huge, but visible marks. Otherwise it’s very well cared for and shows some play wear on the back as well. It’s a rather light Studio and has a very comfortable ’60s neck shape that plays wonderfully with its rosewood fingerboard.
It’s an elegant lady in red with the Gibson truss rod and the long tenon neck. The original Schaller pickups sound nicely balanced and, in our opinion, are really good.
We leveled and polished the frets. We gave it a careful setup and adjusted everything – now it plays beautifully.
This Les Paul comes from the Musico-Delicia factory (Bohemia), one of the most sought-after production sites for Epiphone. Typical for this production period:
