Epiphone SG Emily the Strange G-310, 2004 - used

The Epiphone Emily the Strange G-310 features the famous “Anti-Cool” face of the 13-year-old cult character Emily, along with other signature graphics created by Cosmic Debris and turned into a brand through the internet. Emily stands for individuality, nonconformity, and that slightly dark indie charm of the early 2000s.

The guitar originally came with a specially designed gig bag and a strap featuring Emily graphics – both are included here, which is far from guaranteed with these models today.

Musically, the character was also associated with the band Emily’s Army, founded by Joey Armstrong, son of Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, carrying the rebellious, slightly punk-inspired spirit of that era. The guitar fits perfectly into that time: bedroom, rehearsal room, first band.

Technically, it is a G-310, meaning the version with a bolt-on neck. The neck-to-body transition is therefore designed differently from the set-neck SG models. It also features the large pickguard for a classic look.

The medium C neck has a substantial, comfortable feel in the hand. It is equipped with an EPI 700T humbucker at the bridge and an EPI 650R humbucker at the neck – solid, powerful pickups with that typical SG character.

It shows only minimal signs of use and is overall in genuine collector’s condition – quite rare for this model, as many of these guitars really did spend years leaning against the wall in a teenager’s bedroom.

The frets were nearly like new, but we still freshly leveled and polished them and gave the guitar a complete setup. The result is very good action and beautifully smooth playability.

A piece of 2000s pop culture – playable, collectible, and complete.
