Description **
Here we have a hardly played example of the legendary Epiphone Sheraton II Pro in Wine Red from 2016. An elegant luxury semi-hollow with a very classy look and in wonderful condition. A refined instrument with character that inspires instantly – visually and sonically.
The Sheraton is considered the luxury version of the 335/DOT – with its beautiful headstock inlays, gold hardware, refined fingerboard inlays, and the three-piece maple neck with binding. It looks and feels truly high-end.
This one is completely original and shows only very minor signs of use. The gold hardware does have a few spots, though. At around 3.80 kg it’s one of the pleasantly light Sheratons.
We freshly leveled and polished the frets and gave it a full setup. Even though it was barely played, the frets still needed leveling. Now everything is perfect: dreamy action and buttery-smooth playability. The neck has a medium C profile and sits very comfortably in the hand.
Tonally, the Sheraton II is—as always—very versatile, especially thanks to the coil-splittable humbuckers: warm jazz tones, punchy blues leads, bell-like cleans – it’s all there. The original pickups match the guitar’s character perfectly and deliver a balanced, musical sound.
