Description **
Faber is the in-house brand of the German Tokai importer – and this instrument is a top Tele in classic vintage style.
The body is alder, the neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard. Year? I’d guess somewhere around the early 2000s.
Good hardware, good-sounding pickups – but what really makes it special is the feel.
Everyone who comes into the shop gets stuck on it.
Besides that rich egg-yolk yellow, it simply has a vibe that jumps at you.
And the moment you pick it up, you immediately notice:
this one has been played.
It feels like a real vintage Tele – broken in, alive.
And once you plug it in – through a Tube Screamer into an old tube amp –
that’s it.
If you like Teles, you’ll fall in love.
And if you haven’t liked them so far… this might be the one that changes your mind.
Condition: A few small dings and dents – fits the mojo.
