Description **
Squier Classic Vibe 50’s Stratocaster delivers exactly that classic Strat vibe: open, lively and direct. A modern Squier that feels surprisingly high-quality and easily plays in a much higher league.
When I picked up this Classic Vibe 50’s Stratocaster for the first time, one thing was immediately clear: this guitar plays fantastic.
The neck is a dream – slim, flat and refined, definitely not a chunky 50s baseball bat. The high-gloss clear coat feels surprisingly comfortable and fits perfectly with the classic 2 Tone Sunburst finish.
The fretwork on this Squier was rather average from the factory, so we properly leveled and polished the frets and gave the guitar a complete setup. Now it plays buttery smooth and clean all the way up the neck.
Sound-wise, the Classic Vibe models have long been among the real insider tips. This one sounds open, lively and clear – exactly the way you want a good Strat to sound. In direct comparison with some Fender USA models, it definitely does not need to hide.
The workmanship and finish are really well done, and the response is direct and dynamic. The guitar is practically like new and has hardly been played.
If you are looking for a traditional Strat with genuine 50s vibe and modern playability, this one gives you a lot of guitar for the money.
