This Classic Vibe 60’s Stratocaster is surprisingly close to the original. Anyone looking for a vintage-style Strat with a 9.5" fingerboard radius gets a very convincing match here – for a fraction of the price of an original.
The neck is a dream – slim, flat and refined. The high-gloss clear coat feels surprisingly pleasant and fits the whole vibe perfectly.
The fretwork on this Squier was rather average, so we carefully levelled and polished the frets and gave the guitar a complete setup. Now it plays smoothly and cleanly all the way up to the higher registers.
Sound-wise, the Classic Vibe models have long been considered real hidden gems. This one sounds open, lively and clear – exactly how you imagine a good Strat should sound. In direct comparison with several Fender USA models, it definitely does not have to hide.
The workmanship and finish are really well done, and the response is direct and dynamic. It is in excellent condition and has barely been played.
Anyone looking for a traditional Strat with real 60s vibe and modern playability gets a lot of guitar for the money here.
