Gibson USA Les Paul Studio Wine Red 2012 ist eine echte Player-Paula ohne Schnickschnack - aber mit dem, was zählt: Sound, Sustain und dieses „Gibson singt“-Gefühl. Flamed Top unter transparentem Wine Red, goldene Hardware mit Patina und ein Leben im Holz - bereit fürs nächste Kapitel.
Die „kleine Les Paul“ – die Studio. Ohne Bling-Bling, aber mit allem, was eine echte Les Paul braucht. Und diese hier hat sogar ein paar Extras: Flamed Maple Top unter dem transparenten Wine-Red-Finish, dazu goldene Hardware und der original Gibson Koffer.
Sie ist aus erster Hand von Florian, unserem Gitarrenbauer. Er hat sie damals neu gekauft und viel in verschiedenen Bands gespielt – und genau das sieht man ihr auch an: ein paar kleine Dings und Dongs, normale Spielspuren, aber absolut nix grobes, und die goldene Hardware hat hier und da Pickelchen und Abnutzung der Beschichtung. Auch der Lack zeigt, dass sie nicht nur rumhing. Wir haben sie bewusst nicht auf Hochglanz poliert, weil das einfach nicht zur geagten Hardware passen würde. Das ist eine Player Paula – mit Seele.
Die Bünde hatten natürlich Spielspuren, aber noch genug Fleisch. Wir haben sie sorgfältig abgerichtet und poliert und danach alles sauber eingestellt. Jetzt ist sie sofort startklar zum Losrocken – und sieht dabei auch noch richtig edel aus.
Der flache C-Shape (Slim Taper) liegt hervorragend in der Hand. Und soundmäßig? Sie klingt und singt wie eine Gibson eben klingen und singen soll: fett, direkt, sustainreich - mit dieser Note, die einfach stehen bleibt.
