Here we have a classic, simple Tele copy. The sunburst finish really comes through nicely and has a few dings, dents, and scratches – not from heavy playing, but from being moved around in a teenager’s room and later sitting in the basement after the aspiring guitarist moved out.
I know the previous owner well – today a very successful businessman in Switzerland and a former professional football player. I still remember exactly when he got this guitar.
I leveled the frets and set everything up properly. Now it’s playable even up in the highest registers. The frets are medium size, and the neck has a moderate C profile.
The pickups are nothing special, but they work and at least deliver the typical Tele twang. Definitely usable for strumming in front of the TV or practicing at home, since it plays well and the tuners work reliably.
The hardware is in like-new condition, with hardly any visible wear. If you invest a few euros in better pickups, you’ll end up with a fully band-ready guitar here.
