PRS SE Custom 22 Semi Hollow 2009 ist eine federleichte Bühne-Gitarre mit nur 2,52 kg – resonant, lebendig und perfekt ausbalanciert. Eine koreanische PRS, die zeigt, warum diese Jahrgänge so geschätzt werden: leicht, hochwertig gebaut und klanglich absolut überzeugend.
Die frühen Korea-SEs sind bekannt für ihre sehr gute Verarbeitung – und genau das merkt man hier sofort. Trocken gespielt ist sie erstaunlich brillant und spürbar lauter als eine Solidbody. Am Amp überzeugt sie mit einem offenen, klaren Grundcharakter und sehr ausgewogenen Mitten. Die originalen Humbucker funktionieren hier richtig gut und passen perfekt zum semi-hollow Konzept.
Der Hals hat ein angenehmes Medium-C-Profil - weder zu flach noch zu kräftig. Er liegt sehr ausgewogen in der Hand und macht lange Spielzeiten absolut stressfrei.
Optisch wie technisch ist sie in einem sehr guten Zustand, fast Mint Condition - lediglich leichte Spielspuren, keine Lackabplatzer, keine groben Dellen.
Die Bünde haben wir frisch abgerichtet und poliert und der Gitarre ein komplettes Setup gegönnt. Ergebnis: butterweiche Bespielbarkeit, saubere Intonation und ein Instrument, das sofort inspiriert.
Vor allem für Musiker, die lange auf der Bühne stehen, ist dieses Gewicht ein echter Segen.
