PRS SE Custom 22 Semi Hollow 2009 is a featherweight stage guitar at only 2.52 kg – resonant, lively and perfectly balanced. A Korean-made PRS that shows exactly why these years are so highly regarded: lightweight, beautifully built and absolutely convincing in tone.
The early Korean SE models are known for their very good workmanship – and you notice that immediately here. Played unplugged, it is surprisingly brilliant and noticeably louder than a solidbody. Through an amp, it impresses with an open, clear basic character and very balanced mids. The original humbuckers work really well here and fit the semi-hollow concept perfectly.
The neck has a comfortable Medium C profile – neither too slim nor too chunky. It sits very well balanced in the hand and makes long playing sessions completely relaxed.
Both visually and technically, it is in very good condition, almost mint condition – only light signs of use, no finish chips, no major dents.
We freshly levelled and polished the frets and gave the guitar a complete setup. The result: smooth playability, clean intonation and an instrument that inspires right away.
Especially for musicians who spend long hours on stage, this weight is a real blessing.
