Description **

Elegant, mysterious, and sonically absolutely convincing – this PRS SE Paul Allender is a rare piece from the Korean SE production. Visually it stands out immediately: the purple-shimmering burst finish over the quilted maple top, combined with the iconic bat inlays, instantly makes you feel like you’re holding something special.

The neck is a highlight in its own right: a very slim, perfectly shaped Wide Thin profile that feels extremely comfortable in the hand and invites fast, effortless playing. Despite the flashy looks, the guitar is surprisingly approachable – you pick it up, play the first chords, and your fingers just start gliding.

The PRS-designed Paul Allender pickups deliver a punchy, modern sound: powerful and rock-ready, yet still balanced and not as mid-compressed as many other SE pickups from that era. Versatile, but with a clear tendency toward rock and metal.

The condition is very good with normal signs of use. The tremolo is set to sit flush on the body; the tremolo arm is not original and comes in chrome. The fretwork was clean, so we didn’t need to change anything. Of course it still got a proper setup – and after that we played it for several hours, because you simply don’t want to put it down.
