This Schecter Nick Johnston is from 2021 and is in very good condition. The color Atomic Frost Blue is, simply put: gigantic. Modern, classy, and a real eye-catcher both on stage and in the rehearsal room.
The original bridge humbucker was swapped for a Gibson 498. It’s not coil-splittable, but it’s exactly what you want in that position: loud, wide, mid-forward, and with plenty of punch. The two single coils add a nicely brilliant, warm, very Strat-like sound – overall an extremely usable HSS combination.
The neck is Schecter-typical: slim, with a flat D profile. Combined with the lightly satin feel of the roasted maple, it feels really good – dry, fast, nothing sticky. Especially for players with smaller hands, this is a real gift.
This guitar is a true workhorse: versatile, reliable, and absolutely stage-ready. It’s no coincidence that this model is highly praised online and on YouTube – and rightly so.
The Schecter Nick Johnston HSS is a modern superstrat with an extremely comfortable neck and a sound that covers everything from chimey Strat tones to fat, cutting power. A guitar you pick up – and then don’t want to put down.
