Description **
This used Squier Bullet Stratocaster has a surprisingly “serious” vibe when you see it hanging there. The combination of silver finish, black pickguard, and a rosewood neck just works. And the ’70s-style headstock doesn’t bother it at all.
The moment you pick it up, you feel that comfortable satin neck finish and the moderate weight of only 3.2 kg. It’s been upgraded with hand-wound pickups from a guitar builder in Hamburg – we got them used and transplanted them into this Strat. And they sound genuinely great: clear, with a solid low end in the neck and middle positions, turning this “cheap” Bullet into a fully capable Stratocaster.
The frets – somewhere between vintage and medium – have been carefully leveled, re-crowned and polished.
A great-looking workhorse for practice, but absolutely ready for live playing too.
