Description **
A nice, honest Strat in a classic look — light, simple, and absolutely straightforward. The probably Indian-laurel fretboard combined with the almost unfinished maple neck feels really comfortable. The neck profile is a pleasant C-shape, but the surface of the maple can feel a bit rough to some. If you don’t like that, you can fix it in a few minutes with very fine sandpaper.
When you pick it up, you immediately notice the comfortable, moderate weight of around 3.0 kg. It definitely sounds like a Strat, but the basic tone was — let’s say — improvable. The real weak point was the fretwork: very uneven, different heights, in places truly unplayable. We therefore did the full job: leveled the frets, re-crowned them, and polished them. Now it plays cleanly and feels like a proper guitar.
Visually it’s really well done: classic 3-tone sunburst, nice fretboard, an expensive look for little money. A good-looking workhorse — perfect for beginners, the rehearsal room, or couch sessions.
And yes: there’s more work in this guitar than guitar.
