This Strat is a true collector’s piece and at the same time a really good workhorse!
It comes from the SRS series – meaning Single Run Series. Built only once, in 2005!
The Deluxe came with SSS Alnico single coils and a rosewood fingerboard – and it was offered in three colors:
• 501 White Blonde with tortoise pickguard
• 520 Amber (ours!) with tortoise pickguard
• 575 Wine Transparent with BWB pickguard
So this one is the Amber version – with a very special finish:
a matte, almost silky look with its own character.
It has a ding on the body below the jack that was filled and sanded as well as possible (see photo).

Body: Basswood
Pickups: 3 x Alnico single coils (SSS)
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Neck: rather chunky, leaning toward a D profile
Finish: satin, with a few noticeable dents on the back of the neck
Tremolo: special version with matte saddles
Headstock: large CBS-style headstock
It sounds punchy and mid-forward, with a slight “chime” in the highs – a very distinctive Strat sound! A great, rare piece with character – for stage, studio, or simply to enjoy.
