Diese Squier FSR Classic Vibe '60s Stratocaster in Fiesta Red ist wohl eine der gesuchteren Classic Vibe '60s Strats. Die Kombination aus dem klassischen Fiesta Red Finish und dem dunklen Indian-Laurel-Griffbrett passt einfach perfekt.
Dieses Modell wurde als FSR (Factory Special Run) produziert und war nur in begrenzter Stückzahl erhältlich. Also eine Squier mit durchaus etwas Sammlerpotenzial – und das noch für den kleineren Geldbeutel.
Die Gitarre befindet sich in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Sie hat nur normale, leichte Spielspuren und keine groben Beschädigungen.
Das Werks-Fretwork war allerdings leider nicht überzeugend. Die Bünde zeigten zwar praktisch keinen Verschleiß, waren aber nicht sauber nivelliert. Deshalb haben wir die Bünde nivelliert, recrowned und poliert und der Gitarre anschließend ein komplettes Setup gegönnt. Jetzt spielt sie sich so, wie eine gute Classic Vibe spielen sollte.
Ein absoluter Strat-Klassiker mit Seltenheitswert und durchaus Potenzial für Sammler – vor allem aber eine richtig schöne Gitarre zum Spielen.
