Description **
It catches your eye right away – that gorgeous baby blue is simply magnetic.
The Squier FSR Contemporary Stratocaster Special is no ordinary Strat, but a modern, versatile workhorse with character. The three Squier SQR™ Alnico single coils are installed in the special “Special” configuration – the middle pickup sits close to the bridge pickup, creating exciting and dynamic tone variations. From Tele twang to classic Strat cleans to punchy, almost P90-like lead sounds – there’s definitely no cookie-cutter tone here.
The neck has a comfortable medium C profile with a satin finish and jumbo frets that we polished. It sits wonderfully in the hand and plays super smoothly. The 2-point tremolo works precisely and can be controlled with a fine touch, while the roasted maple construction adds stability and attack.
Visually, the guitar brings a modern, classy stage look with its black stealth hardware and the painted headstock with a chrome logo. Hardly played, practically like new – like a demo model. A modern Strat with character, comfort, and real versatility.
