Description **
This is a truly special Strat – a Stoll Striker from 1993, built by German luthier Christian Stoll, who today is best known for his exquisite acoustic guitars. In the early ’90s he released a small, rare run of electric guitars – and this one is an example from that series. You feel it immediately: boutique-built, uncompromising, distinctive, and made to be played.
It has been played a lot, but it’s very well cared for – a true player’s instrument with a story. The previous owner was a professional musician, and you can tell everywhere: an instrument that was in good hands and used professionally.
We freshly leveled and polished the frets and did a full setup. Now it plays like a dream again – lively, direct, and with an attack you usually only get from really great boutique Strats.
The Schaller Floyd Rose works flawlessly and holds tuning like a rock. The pickup combination of Seymour Duncan SHR-1N, SSL-1, and a Jeff Beck STB-4 at the bridge makes the Striker extremely versatile:
From heavy riffing to jazzy chime – it’s all in there.
It can sing, it can bite, it can be modern, it can be vintage. And it simply sounds insanely good.
Despite its many stage hours, it’s in great condition – honest, mature, well played-in, but well cared for. A guitar that doesn’t want to sit in a display case, but is ready for a new stage life.
