Epiphone Les Paul '56 Gold Top, P90 - 2002

SKU: 038
  • 🎸 This one – a truly stunning Goldtop – is a full-on blues and rock machine. Condition? Very well cared for, with only light signs of play. A real highlight: the beautiful grain of the mahogany body, visible through the transparent back finish on this limited edition.

🔧 Built in 2002 at the renowned Unsung factory in Korea, known for high-quality craftsmanship and materials. The neck on this early ’56 edition is a joy – it starts with a slim 60s feel up top, gradually getting chunkier toward the body – feels just right.

🎶 The P90s really sing – no, they don’t need to be replaced. As with many Epiphone P90s, it’s all about proper adjustment. Take a little care with the string-to-pickup distance, and they’ll give you everything: fat, open, warm tones with just the right amount of bite.

🧡 This guitar doesn’t need to hide behind the big “G” – quite the opposite. (Not that anyone who paid three times the price wants to hear that, haha.)
