Epiphone SG G-400, 2006 Unsung Korea
Here we have a truly fine SG from the legendary Unsung factory in Korea – built in 2006. 🇰🇷 This version has been lovingly modified and carries plenty of vibe!
The neck has a classic medium profile – not too thin, not too chunky. The Korean builders really did an excellent job here; the craftsmanship just feels higher-quality than the later Indonesian or Chinese models. 🙌
The large pickguard is from the 1966 SG-style! This G-400 has been tastefully reworked: large pickguard combined with classy Gibson vintage tuners. Don’t confuse it with the cheaper G-310, which also has the big pickguard – this one’s the real deal. 🧨
The upgraded tuners replace the original Grovers, giving it a more authentic vintage feel – visually and in playability, a real improvement. It sounds wonderfully balanced, open, and full of character – exactly what you’d hope for from an SG. 🎶

- Minor playwear, a small screw hole hidden under the pickguard (from the previous one, barely visible), nothing major
- It has history – but the good kind! 😉
