Squier (Fender) Bullet Stratocaster Silver Black
The Squier has a certain seriousness about it as it hangs there. The combination of silver with a black pickguard and rosewood neck really works. The oversized '70s-style headstock doesn’t feel out of place here.
As soon as you pick it up, you notice the pleasant satin finish on the neck and the moderate weight of just 3.2 kg. It’s equipped with hand-wound pickups from a luthier in Hamburg – we got them second-hand and installed them in this Strat. They sound genuinely good: clear, with a strong low end in the neck and middle positions – turning this “budget” Bullet into a full-fledged Stratocaster.
The frets, which fall somewhere between vintage and medium size, have been meticulously leveled, recrowned, and polished.
A great-looking workhorse – perfect for practice, but absolutely ready for live gigs too.
The price breaks down as follows: €130 for the base guitar, €100 for setup and fretwork, and €100 for the pickups – totaling €330.
