Fender Squier Affinity Fat Strat MBK HDW

This Squier Strat is in absolutely excellent condition. We’ve leveled and polished the frets – which, like on most budget Squier models, was definitely needed. Now it’s really comfortable to play.

Sure, you could say: “Just buy a better guitar!” – but this one already exists. And you wouldn’t just throw it away, so we made the best of it. 😉

The neck profile is a slim “D,” with a satin-like finish. The frets are medium, and the nut is made of black plastic – but perfectly functional. The tremolo is set flat and works fine. The tuners are in great shape, and the finish is also excellent. Particularly rare is the black sparkle pickguard.

FAT stands for the humbucker at the bridge – and yes, it sounds fat! Plenty of power, though it’s not really for clean tones. The middle and neck single-coils deliver exactly what you’d expect – a bit thin, but perfect for clean chords and funky rhythm work.

The previous owner, a student at the time, received this guitar for his birthday and played it in the school band. He clearly took excellent care of it.

A great instrument for practicing, and perfectly fine for rehearsal room duty, too!

Sure, you can get a new Squier for that price – but with most of them, you’d still need to have the frets and nut worked on before they’d play as nicely as this one.
